    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Collections Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to vital financial operations and support the organization’s billing and payment processes. The position is expected to last approximately 3-6 months.

    Responsibilities/ skills needed:

    • Monitor the firm’s accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.

    + Contact customers with overdue accounts and attempt to collect the overdue amount

    + Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent account customers

    + Resolve customer issues and complaints concerning billing.

    + Develop collection strategies

    + Customer service

    + Fast paced environment

    + Go getter mentality

    + Identifying Contract/payment terms

    + Take actions to encourage timely debt payments

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

    • Success in commercial collections and handling high-volume invoicing.

    • Experience with payment processing, including credit card transactions.
