    A top-tier venture capital firm with a 50-year legacy of backing iconic founders is hiring a Senior Fund Accountant & Valuations professional to join its high-performance finance team. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex fund operations and valuations, partner closely with internal stakeholders, and grow into a leadership role over time.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Valuations (ASC 820)

    + Lead quarterly valuations for portfolio companies using accepted VC methodologies

    + Analyze and document legal, financial, and market inputs

    + Present valuation results to internal teams, auditors, and valuation committees

    • Fund Accounting & Operations

    + Support quarterly close, including fund and partner financials

    + Review capital calls, distribution calculations, and investor allocations

    + Manage cash flow, capital planning, and reconciliations

    + Prepare and support annual audits and financial statements

    + Respond to LP requests and ensure reporting excellence

    + Train and mentor junior fund accountants

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA preferred but not required)

    + 3+ years in public accounting (VC or PE clients), or in-house fund accounting at a venture/private equity firm

    + In-depth knowledge of ASC 820 and ASC 946

    + Hands-on audit and close process experience

    + Advanced Excel modeling skills

    + Familiarity with systems like Investran, Intacct, or QuickBooks a plus

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with investors and external partners

    Compensation & Benefits:

    + Base Salary: $125–$150k (depending on experience)

    + Performance Bonus: Up to 20% annually

    + Phantom Carry Plan
