Prior experience with consumer facing products, GUI/VUI consumer experience creation, interactive device development and 3P partner relationships will be critical components of this role. Key job responsibilities
As a Sr Product Manager - Technical, you will be responsible spearheading the quality charter for conversational audio discovery experiences. With Alexa+ customers can talk about and ask for audio content in new and evolving ways, and the role owns the overarching program to continuously improve this quality. This role will not only leverage existing measurement techniques to identify and prioritize top opportunities for improvement - it is also responsible for defining new ways to evaluate quality at scale, and help drive the definition of new dimensions of quality, like perceived personalization. This role is cross-functional — you will work closely with other product managers, engineering, science, design, and business intelligence - not only within Audio, but across other orgs in Alexa and Amazon. A successful candidate must be customer obsessed, highly collaborative with peers, very comfortable with product and organizational ambiguity, and able to communicate and deliver effectively in a matrixed organization.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
