Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Greer, South Carolina. This Contract-to-permanent position offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of financial transactions and reconciliation processes. The ideal candidate will excel in handling accounts payable tasks with precision and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices by matching, batching, coding, and entering them accurately into the system.

• Post and reconcile batch transactions to ensure financial data integrity.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable and receivable with vendors and customers.

• Update sub-ledgers and reconcile them with the general ledger to maintain accurate records.

• Manage cash applications, account reconciliations, and chargebacks efficiently.

• Perform check runs and handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for all financial processes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

• Strong knowledge of invoice coding, batching, and reconciliation processes.

• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and check run procedures.

• Ability to research and resolve financial discrepancies with vendors and customers.

• Proficiency in maintaining accurate sub-ledger and general ledger records.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with vendors and team members.
