Description We are looking for a dedicated Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Glen Allen, Virginia. In this role, you will provide legal expertise to health care entities, addressing a broad range of regulatory, transactional, and compliance matters. This position requires a proactive individual with strong attention to detail who can navigate complex legal issues and deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel to healthcare organizations on board governance, licensing, and investigative matters.

• Assist in the formation and restructuring of healthcare-related businesses, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts, including healthcare-specific agreements.

• Resolve contract disputes and manage claims involving provider payments and healthcare transactions.

• Identify and mitigate risks related to fraud, abuse, HIPAA regulations, and telemedicine.

• Handle medical malpractice cases and faculty care issues with professionalism and attention to detail.

• Advise clients on compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.

• Manage licensing issues and support healthcare facilities in regulatory matters.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to address complex legal challenges in the healthcare industry.

• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare motions, briefs, and discovery materials. Requirements

• Licensed Attorney with active bar membership.

• Strong experience in drafting motions, briefs, and discovery documents.

• Familiarity with healthcare law, including HIPAA, telemedicine, and fraud and abuse regulations.

• Ability to manage contract drafting, negotiation, and dispute resolution effectively.

• Knowledge of medical malpractice and healthcare compliance matters.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Commitment to staying updated on legal developments in the healthcare sector.
