Description
Our prestigious client is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Leave Administrator in Brentwood, Tennessee. This Contract position offers a hybrid work schedule, with on-site work required Monday through Wednesday and remote work on Thursday and Friday. The role involves managing leave administration processes and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, offering the potential for a long-term role with competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the complete leave management cycle, including both continuous and intermittent leave, from initial notice through return-to-work coordination.
• Administer federal and state leave programs, including FMLA, CFRA, and other relevant regulations.
• Maintain consistent communication with employees about their leave status, obligations, and next steps.
• Coordinate leave benefits with disability programs, workers’ compensation, and other related programs.
• Collaborate with managers to develop modified work schedules and facilitate smooth return-to-work transitions.
• Ensure accurate timesheet entries and maintain up-to-date records in accordance with company policies.
• Support the accommodation process under ADA guidelines, partnering with HR Business Partners when necessary.
• Manage additional time-off programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Assist in creating or revising leave policies to align with evolving regulations and best practices.
• Safeguard confidential medical documentation and ensure secure and compliant recordkeeping.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3–4 years of high volume Leave Administration experience mandatory
• Strong knowledge of California leave programs such as CFRA, PDL, and SDI.
• PHR or PHR-CA certification is a strong plus
• Familiarity with FMLA and experience managing the interactive process for accommodations.
• Certification in leave administration or a related HR field is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to navigate complex leave scenarios and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage employee interactions and documentation.
• Experience with updating and maintaining leave-related policies and procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
