Description

Robert Half has partnered with a Metro Denver law firm who is looking for a Paralegal for their well-respected firm to become an integral part of their team. The successful applicant will be instrumental in managing complex litigation cases within the Personal Injury Department. This role involves a variety of responsibilities including drafting legal documents, maintaining filing systems, and ensuring effective communication with diverse individuals. Responsibilities:

• Analyzing business, financial, and other case-related documents and records.

• Applying the rules of civil procedures in both state and federal courts.

• Preparing for and attending arbitration, mediation, and trial.

• Drafting pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence.

• Developing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.

• Directing and instructing administrative staff effectively.

• Anticipating attorney needs, identifying problems, and finding solutions.

• Managing electronic and paper filing systems.

• Prioritizing a high-volume workload with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Reviewing and processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Understanding of Billing Functions within a law firm environment

• Capability to prepare Briefings on legal matters

• Proficiency in Calendar Management following state and federal guidelines

• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Knowledge of Discovery process in litigation

• Experience in Personal Injury Law

• Ability to handle Complex Litigation

• Familiarity with e-Filing systems and processes
