Description

We are seeking a customer-focused Loan Processor to assist our local client's frequent needs on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing loan applications to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Review loan applications for completeness and accuracy.

Verify applicant information including income, employment, credit, and property details.

Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, and clients to gather necessary documentation.

Ensure all loan documentation complies with internal policies and external regulations.

Maintain accurate records and update loan files throughout the process.

Coordinate loan closings and ensure timely funding.

Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the loan process.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).

2+ years of experience in loan processing, mortgage, or financial services.

Strong knowledge of loan documentation, underwriting guidelines, and compliance standards.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficient in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
