Description We are looking for an experienced Property Administrator to join our team in Newark, California. In this Contract-to-Long-Term position, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of various property sites, ensuring safe and quality housing for residents while managing staff and vendor relationships. This role requires a strong commitment to supporting individuals transitioning into stable housing and fostering positive interactions with external partners.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of multiple property sites, including emergency interim housing, long-term supportive housing, and new lease construction projects.

• Supervise and provide guidance to maintenance technicians, night managers, janitorial staff, and indirectly oversee security personnel.

• Coordinate with external agency partners to enhance client engagement and ensure smooth transitions into stable housing.

• Develop and implement staff schedules, conduct performance reviews, and provide training to maintain a highly effective team.

• Monitor and approve timecards, address overtime needs, and ensure adequate staff coverage during holidays and vacations.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with residents, vendors, and community members to foster a positive environment.

• Create scope of work for property maintenance, secure vendor bids, and oversee project completion within budgetary constraints.

• Review and approve vendor payments for delivered materials and services while ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.

• Implement affirmative marketing plans to maintain targeted occupancy levels, conduct applicant screenings, and ensure adherence to fair housing laws.

• Prepare detailed marketing and occupancy reports to support property management goals. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property management.

• Proficiency in Yardi property management software.

• Strong knowledge of lease agreements and HUD regulations.

• Demonstrated ability to manage administrative tasks and ensure compliance with property management policies.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with residents, staff, vendors, and external partners.

• Proven track record of supervising and leading teams effectively.

• Familiarity with fair housing laws and affirmative marketing strategies.

• Ability to oversee vendor contracts and ensure timely completion of property maintenance projects. TalentMatch®
