Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Collections Specialist for a REMOTE contract position in El Segundo, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and improving the collections process while ensuring timely payments from customers. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team within the IT software industry.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage accounts receivable collections, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.

• Communicate professionally with clients to address payment issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary.

• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payments, and account status updates.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address billing discrepancies and improve collection processes.

• Utilize Salesforce and NetSuite to track, monitor, and report on collection activities.

• Identify and escalate problematic accounts to senior management for further review.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all collection efforts.

• Provide exceptional customer service to maintain positive client relationships while addressing financial concerns.

Requirements • Proven experience in commercial and consumer collections.

• Strong knowledge of credit and collection processes, including billing collection.

• Proficiency in Salesforce Administration and NetSuite.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Ability to analyze financial data and resolve account discrepancies.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
