Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Tax Manager to lead corporate tax operations and strategy within our organization. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in compliance, tax planning, and audit management, while staying updated on changes in tax regulations. Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to identify risks and opportunities for the organization.
• Lead and manage audits conducted by federal, state, and local tax authorities, including income, sales/use, and property taxes.
• Ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations, overseeing the preparation and submission of all required tax filings.
• Monitor changes in federal, state, and local tax laws to assess their impact on the organization and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage the annual income tax provision and ensure accurate reporting.
• Oversee the use and optimization of tax compliance software, including ATX Tax Software.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on corporate income tax matters to support decision-making processes.
• Identify areas for process improvement within the tax function and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Support financial reporting requirements related to income taxes and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.
Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate tax management, including compliance and planning.
• Strong knowledge of annual income tax provision processes and corporate income tax regulations.
• Proficiency in using ATX Tax Software and other compliance tools.
• Demonstrated ability to manage audits with federal, state, and local tax authorities.
• Expertise in analyzing and interpreting changes in tax laws to ensure organizational compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in managing complex tax scenarios.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to collaborate across departments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is preferred.
