    Description

    Robert Half is currently partnering with a dynamic client in their search for a Property Accountant. The Property Accountant should have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and property-specific systems, as well as 3+ years of general accounting experience. This is the role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced work environment that requires the ability to balance multiple responsibilities. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Property Accountant will ensure that general ledger maintenance, financial reporting and budgeting are handled consistently, accurately, and efficiently.     Major responsibilities

    + Help with the implementation of internal controls

    + Prepare complex journal entries and bank reconciliations

    + Support reconciliations, depreciation and fixed-asset ledger

    + Coordinate and examine financial data and report it in a clear, useful manner

    + Prepare financial statements and reporting packages

    + Produce monthly Profit and Loss statement and review variance reports

    + Actively participate on teams and meetings to promote the continual improvement of operating strategies, guest satisfaction and financial results

    Requirements

    Requirements

    + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

    + 3+ years accounting experience, property accounting experience preferred

    + Strong general ledger accounting experience

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

    + Multi-Location or Multi-Entity Accounting preferred

    + Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

    + Excellent communication skills
