We're doing so by building a world class last mile operation capable of exceeding the expectations of our customers by ensuring that their orders, no matter how large or small, are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost effectively as possible through the Hub Delivery program. Hub Delivery allows small businesses to partner with Amazon and earn incremental revenue with existing space and labor by providing flexible, low-cost delivery service within their community as a ‘side-hustle’ with minimal upfront investment.

To enable the program to scale in a sustainable way, Amazon is seeking an exceptional Sr. Manager who will lead the team responsible for designing, building, evolving and launching the program at global scale.

This individual will partner closely with other Hub Delivery leaders and stakeholders to understand business and technology needs, and translate them into world-class products and services. The optimal fit for this role will be a candidate wanting to roll-up their sleeves, dive into a challenge, develop a solution, demonstrate strategic thinking, and path forward by working with multiple stakeholders, and convince senior management that their solution is the best one. This will be a high visibility role, meaning that the optimal candidate will be comfortable driving critical business decisions in a fast paced, high pressure, and often ambiguous environment, and elevating critical one-way door decisions to senior leadership. A successful candidate will be customer focused, highly analytical, resourceful, a big thinker, a strong writer, and able to operate at all levels of the organization. Any background in logistics, last mile, supply chain or with metrics and product management will be considered a plus.

This role requires international travel 25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications

- 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with end to end product delivery

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience managing teams of 6 or more

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to exercise influence without direct authority

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
