Description

We are looking for an experienced Part-time Bookkeeper to join our client's team in Roeland Park, Kansas. This Contract-to-long-term position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in financial management and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be skilled in maintaining accurate records, managing payroll, and handling various bookkeeping tasks with precision.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

• Perform bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Utilize QuickBooks to track financial transactions and generate reports.

• Process full-cycle payroll for under 100 employees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

• Prepare AIA documents and handle AIA billing tasks as required.

• Create and manage Excel formulas and VBA scripts to streamline financial operations.

• Maintain detailed and organized financial records to support audits and reporting.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial operations and address any discrepancies.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate financial statements.

Requirements • Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.

• Experience with full-cycle payroll processing for small teams.

• Familiarity with AIA billing and document preparation.

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
