Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and optimize the financial operations of our organization based in Midland, Texas. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting, capital management, and business systems to support strategic decision-making and drive financial performance. This role is pivotal in ensuring sustainable growth within the construction and project industry.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to achieve organizational goals.
• Oversee accounting operations, including auditing processes and compliance with financial standards.
• Manage budgeting activities to ensure effective allocation of resources and alignment with company objectives.
• Analyze cash flow and capital management to enhance financial stability and growth.
• Implement and optimize accounting software systems, including SAP and 3M, to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with project and construction teams to align financial planning with industry-specific needs.
• Evaluate and refine business systems to support data-driven decision-making.
• Provide leadership in financial reporting and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support financial partnerships and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards to safeguard financial integrity. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the construction or project industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems such as SAP and 3M.
• Strong knowledge of auditing practices, budgeting processes, and capital management.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and ADP financial services.
• Demonstrated expertise in cash flow analysis and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to optimize business systems for operational efficiency.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA certification is preferred.
