Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Denver, Colorado. This is a Contract to permanent opportunity, ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong expertise in managing full-cycle accounts payable processes. The role requires proficiency in handling high-volume transactions and ensuring accuracy in financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice coding, posting, and reconciliation.

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments.

• Utilize SAP software to efficiently process and track accounts payable activities.

• Monitor accounts payable records and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records for audit and compliance purposes.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper account coding and approval workflows.

• Conduct regular reviews of vendor accounts to verify payment accuracy and address outstanding issues.

• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures related to accounts payable.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices for accounts payable operations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field, demonstrating strong attention to detail.

• Strong proficiency in SAP software and other financial systems.

• Thorough understanding of full-cycle accounts payable processes, including ACH payments and check runs.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage high-volume transactions.

• Ability to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and vendors.

• Familiarity with account coding and invoice processing.

• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements for accounts payable operations.
