Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis in Bradenton, Florida. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring smooth communication and a welcoming environment. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a multi-line phone system effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and directed appropriately.
• Manage a multi-line phone system, answering inbound calls promptly and professionally.
• Handle switchboard operations for up to 10 phone lines, ensuring seamless communication.
• Provide accurate information to callers and transfer calls to the appropriate departments.
• Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and handling correspondence.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient front-desk operations.
• Monitor visitor logs and maintain security protocols as required.
• Support part-time receptionist duties when needed to ensure coverage.
• Address inquiries and resolve minor issues in a courteous and detail-oriented manner. Requirements • Proven experience in receptionist duties, including managing a multi-line phone system.
• Familiarity with switchboard operations for handling multiple phone lines.
• Strong verbal communication skills and an attentive demeanor.
• Ability to handle inbound calls efficiently and provide excellent customer service.
• Organizational skills to manage front-desk tasks effectively.
• Basic knowledge of administrative procedures and office equipment.
• Flexibility to assist with part-time receptionist responsibilities when required.
