Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and maintaining employee records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in payroll administration who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

• Verify employee timecards and reconcile discrepancies before payroll submission.

• Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, benefits, and tax information.

• Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Generate payroll reports and provide data analysis as needed.

• Collaborate with HR to manage employee information and ensure accuracy in payroll systems.

• Identify and resolve payroll errors promptly to avoid delays or inaccuracies.

• Support audits by providing necessary payroll documentation and records. Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

• Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software.

• Familiarity with federal and state payroll regulations.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
