Description
We are looking for an experienced Director of Treasury to join our team in Oak Brook, Illinois. This long-term contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial health and strategic growth of our manufacturing organization. The role involves managing global treasury activities, providing financial analysis, and supporting corporate projects to drive business success.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and prepare comprehensive reports on treasury activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage the company’s debt and equity positions to optimize financial performance.
• Develop and maintain detailed mappings of in-country financing and banking arrangements, including managing contract negotiations.
• Conduct in-depth analyses of revenues, liabilities, and credit conditions to forecast cash flow for short, medium, and long-term periods.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks related to currency and interest rate fluctuations.
• Evaluate capital requests to ensure alignment with treasury considerations and organizational goals.
• Collaborate with tax and legal teams to assess the impact of legal entity structures on funding and cash flow requirements.
• Support strategic corporate projects such as mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and new product business plans.
• Manage cash flow operations, intercompany settlements, and foreign exchange activities to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist in developing and implementing treasury strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance efficiency.
Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate treasury, cash management, or related fields.
• Strong expertise in global treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and foreign exchange management.
• Proven ability to manage debt and equity positions within a large organization.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar financial systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in managing treasury risks, including currency and interest rate exposure.
• Familiarity with capital planning, mergers and acquisitions, and financial reporting.
