Description

Key Responsibilities

+ Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

+ Maintain supporting documentation for all accounting transactions

+ Help prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

+ Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed

+ Monitor and report on company expenses and assist in budget tracking

+ Identify and resolve discrepancies or irregularities in accounting records

+ Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

Requirements

Qualifications

We value experience, skills, and a strong work ethic over formal education. You are encouraged to apply even if you do not have a college degree.

Required:

+ 2+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field

+ Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP knowledge is a plus)

+ Experience with accounting software

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
