    Basic Job Functions:

    Vulcraft and Nucor Detailing Center are looking for Drafter/Modelers. Candidates must be willing to work from Vulcraft or Nucor Detailing Center's Norfolk, NE facility. Basic functions of this position include:

     

    Coordinating with and providing drafting/modeling services for Nucor manufacturing facilities located throughout the United States. Using customized 3D modeling software, TEKLA, a model of the project is created to ensure all components fit together correctly as part of a complete design solution. From this 3D model, fabrication drawings and reports, bill of materials, and field construction drawings will be generated and verified.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Associates degree in Drafting, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent work experience

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Associates degree in Structural, Mechanical or Architectural Drafting

    + 3D modeling experience using Tekla or Solidworks

    + Strong knowledge of construction industry and construction practices
