Description We are looking for a skilled Corporate Paralegal/Contract Manager to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with both labor and employment counsel and the corporate legal team, supporting a variety of legal functions. If you have a strong background in contract management and litigation support, this role provides a dynamic environment to grow your expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and collect necessary documentation for analyzing disputes and legal cases.

• Assist in the production and organization of legal documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Manage responses to legal inquiries and provide administrative support to labor and employment counsel.

• Facilitate routine contract renewals and updates, including nondisclosure agreements and marketing-related contracts.

• Support corporate counsel with contract negotiations and document preparation.

• Provide training and guidance on internal contract management systems as required.

• Partner with the legal team to address civil litigation and trial preparation needs.

• Ensure case details are accurately tracked within case management software.

• Contribute to resolving labor and employment disputes in collaboration with legal counsel. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal or contract manager.

• Expertise in discovery processes and civil litigation.

• Familiarity with trial preparation and case management software.

• Proficiency in managing contracts, including renewals and nondisclosure agreements.

• Knowledge of labor laws, including California labor law and employment law for employers.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills for interacting with legal teams and stakeholders.
