Our client in the Westchester County area has an opening for a Part-Time Senior Tax Accountant. This contract-to-permanent position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a firm specializing in tax preparation, compliance, and planning services for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and non-profit organizations. The role requires a dedicated and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to gain a comprehensive understanding of accounting, tax, and finance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates, and nonprofit entities, including addressing international tax considerations.

• Conduct detailed bookkeeping and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring accuracy through proper documentation and analysis.

• Manage client projects, perform tax research, and provide expert consultation.

• Stay informed of regulatory and accounting guidelines to ensure compliance with U.S. tax laws and standards.

• Collaborate with partners and team members on complex tax planning and preparation tasks.

• Generate ad-hoc reports to support financial analysis and decision-making.

• Maintain strong client relationships by delivering exceptional service and clear communication.

• Participate in the development and implementation of efficient tax preparation processes.

• Handle tax-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in tax accounting, with expertise in individual, partnership, trust, and estate tax.
