    Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Accountant for a contract-to-permanent opportunity with a well-established company in Fort Worth, TX. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance, while also supporting broader accounting functions. This is a permanent, onsite role ideal for professionals ready to contribute at a high level and grow within the organization.

     

    Key Responsibilities: Oversee general ledger functions, journal entries, and account reconciliations Lead month-end and year-end close processes Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP Analyze variances and provide insight into financial performance Support internal and external audits Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities Mentor junior accounting staff and collaborate across departments Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks, etc.) Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work onsite permanent in Fort Worth, TX CPA or CPA track preferred, but not required
