Description We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in Concord, New Hampshire. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming data into actionable insights, collaborating with business leaders to create and present dynamic dashboards and reports. This position offers an opportunity to make a visible impact on organizational growth and efficiency through data visualization.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support inventory analysis, forecasting, and supply chain optimization.
• Collaborate with business leaders across departments to gather requirements and understand data needs.
• Translate complex business challenges into data-driven solutions that enhance operational and strategic decision-making.
• Work closely with the data analytics team to optimize the use of the company's new data lake.
• Promote and present data visualization solutions to showcase their value and impact to stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability in all reporting activities.
• Identify opportunities for business practice improvements through advanced analytics.
• Provide expertise in leveraging Power BI and related tools to maximize organizational insights.
• Support the implementation of analytics strategies to drive business growth.
• Maintain a proactive approach in identifying and solving data-related challenges. Requirements • Proven experience in building dashboards and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.
• Strong understanding of data analysis and business intelligence technologies.
• Expertise in data modeling and DAX programming within Power BI.
• Industry experience in wholesale, warehousing, or building products supply.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and present to organizational leaders.
• Ability to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.
