Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Saginaw, Michigan. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts, ensuring accurate billing, and maintaining financial records. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in accounts receivable processes and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices and reconciling accounts.

• Conduct thorough collections efforts to recover outstanding balances from commercial clients.

• Generate and review aging reports to identify overdue accounts and prioritize collection activities.

• Communicate effectively with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and deductions, including concealed and pallet damage claims.

• Perform cash application tasks to ensure accurate allocation of payments.

• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve billing issues promptly.

• Utilize Plex and Excel software to maintain detailed financial records and reports.

• Analyze customer accounts to identify trends and recommend improvements to reduce outstanding balances.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all accounts receivable activities. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, including cash applications and collections.

• Familiarity with commercial billing functions and cash activity processes.

• Proficiency in using Plex and Excel for financial reporting and data analysis.

• Strong ability to communicate professionally with customers to resolve account issues.

• Experience in handling customer deductions and claims related to concealed or pallet damage.

• Solid organizational skills to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Knowledge of manufacturing industry practices is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
