Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Burlington, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in day-to-day accounting operations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. If you have a strong background in accounting processes and systems, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions with precision and timeliness.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate tracking of financial activities.

• Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant.

• Prepare and post journal entries as part of regular accounting operations.

• Assist with month-end close procedures to ensure financial statements are accurate and complete.

• Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP to manage financial data.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all financial processes.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and streamline accounting workflows.

• Provide detailed reports and analysis to support decision-making and financial planning. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliations and general ledger management.

• Familiarity with preparing journal entries and performing month-end close tasks.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong communication skills for interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
