Description We are looking for a dedicated Purchase & Sales Specialist to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in managing purchasing and sales activities, ensuring smooth coordination between vendors and receiving facilities. This is a long-term contract position within the security industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of freight, moving, and asset transfers between vendors and receiving facilities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files, catalogues, and computerized records related to purchasing activities.
• Review and process daily invoices, ensuring accuracy in quantities, costs, specifications, and item numbers.
• Manage supply purchases, including placing orders with authorized vendors and scheduling shipments and returns.
• Assess and select vendors by evaluating their facilities, capacity, and ability to meet quality standards.
• Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, including reviewing applications from new suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with purchasing protocols and maintain clear documentation of all transactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the purchasing and sales functions. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business administration is preferred.
• Proven experience in purchasing functions and activities, including handling purchase orders.
• Familiarity with merchant services and vendor management processes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing purchasing records and invoices.
• Ability to evaluate and select vendors based on quality, capacity, and reliability.
• Proficiency in computerized systems and tools used for purchasing and sales operations.
• Solid communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
