Description

We are looking for a dedicated Network Administrator to join our team on a contract basis ONSITE in San Diego, California. This role is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience with advanced firewall technologies in a dynamic environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing network security protocols while ensuring system integrity and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and update passwords across network systems to ensure secure access.

• Perform operating system updates on Palo Alto firewalls to maintain optimal performance and security.

• Implement new security rules to safeguard against potential threats and vulnerabilities.

• Standardize operational credentials and configurations for streamlined network management.

• Configure and update service routes to optimize network traffic flow.

• Modify interface profile access lists to align with organizational security policies.

• Update management interface access lists to control administrative privileges.

• Validate and renew self-signed certificates to maintain secure communications.

Requirements • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewall technologies in production environments.

• Strong knowledge of Cisco routers and networking protocols.

• Familiarity with Active Directory for managing user access and authentication.

• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting LAN (Local Area Network) systems.

• Demonstrated expertise in Palo Alto Networks products and solutions.

• Ability to apply security rules and perform system updates effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
