    Description

    Take up – 6am to finish (typically 2:30pm) - dependent on volume and production and/or maintenance delays

    Job requirements

    + Pull (75- 80 lb.) hides with hook from raceways and hook hides onto power rail

    + When raceway empties, pull remaining hides from raceway base

    + Grading and folding of fleshed hides

    + Stacking hides on pallets

    + Trimming of Hides as required

    + Maintain / Clean up work area throughout the day

    + Required to rotate among other take-up positions to prevent fatigue

    Qualifications

    + Trained in knife safety

    + Physically demanding position- requires stamina to perform job tasks
