*Summary:** *

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate *CT Technologist* to join our Imaging Services team. This role requires proficiency in both *Computed Tomography (CT)* and *general radiography (X-ray)*. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, technical excellence, and collaborative teamwork.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Perform high-quality CT and X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols

* Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process

* Operate and maintain imaging equipment

* Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes

* Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and HIPAA regulations

*Knowledge:*

* In-depth understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and radiographic positioning

* Knowledge of CT protocols, contrast administration, and radiation dose optimization

* Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and EMR systems

* Understanding of regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g., ACR, The Joint Commission)

*Skills:*

* Proficient in operating CT scanners and radiography equipment

* IV insertion and contrast administration skills

* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Ability to multitask and prioritize patient workflow

*Abilities:*

* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

* Ability to adapt to new technologies and evolving clinical practices

* Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations

* Physical ability to assist patients and operate equipment (e.g., lifting, standing for long periods)

*Qualifications:*

* Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

* ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required

* Computed Tomography (CT) required or obtained within 1 year of hire.

* BLS certification
