Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced *Imaging Supervisor* to lead our Imaging Services department. This leadership role combines *clinical expertise in CT and X-ray* with *operational oversight*, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic imaging.
As Imaging Supervisor, you will be responsible for day-to-day departmental operations, staff supervision, regulatory compliance, and workflow optimization. You’ll serve as a clinical resource and role model, with a primary focus on CT and general radiography, supporting both patient care and team development.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Oversee daily operations of the Imaging Department, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient care
* Supervise and support imaging technologists, fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture
* Perform CT and X-ray exams as needed, maintaining clinical competency and supporting departmental coverage
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and safety standards
* Manage scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations
* Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other departments to ensure seamless imaging services
* Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate preventative maintenance and service calls
* Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental planning and budgeting
*Knowledge:*
* Advanced understanding of CT and radiographic imaging principles, protocols, and anatomy
* Knowledge of departmental operations, workflow management, and regulatory standards
* Familiarity with PACS, RIS, EMR systems, and imaging informatics
* Understanding of accreditation processes and quality assurance practices
*Skills:*
* Proficient in CT scanning and digital radiography, including contrast administration and positioning
* Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
* Effective communication and conflict resolution abilities
* Skilled in time management, multitasking, and prioritization
*Abilities:*
* Ability to lead by example and foster a culture of excellence and accountability
* Ability to analyze operational challenges and implement effective solutions
* Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
* Physical ability to assist patients and operate imaging equipment

*Qualifications:*
* Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
* ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and Computed Tomography (CT) required
* Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical imaging experience, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
* BLS certification
