Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a **Lead Software Engineer** in Charlotte, NC.
Job Role and Responsibility:
Analyses business requirements, designs, and writes technical specifications to design or redesign technical solutions. Delivers innovative and efficient solutions. Lead projects and work-related tasks, including migration of applications to production. Assures quality, security, and compliance requirements are met for supported area, as well as updating and testing of the business continuation plan. Perform various application software installations, configuration changes, and configure plug-in software. Monitors system performance and capacity. Monitor system and application changes that have a direct or indirect impact upon SWIFT Services. Forecasts system demands and collaborates with the SWIFT Technical support team to recommend expansion and reconfiguration. Create or update documentation related to the activity performed including design document, maintenance procedure, and troubleshooting documents. Communicate changes and upgrades to all customers. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.

**Required Qualifications** :
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field and 5 years of experience in experience in the job offered or in a related position involving application development and implementation experience. Employer will accept 7 years of experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree.
Specific skills required:
+ Understanding of various international industry standard (ISO20022, ISO15022, MT and MX standard)
+ Knowledge and understanding of networking and security concepts, including, networking protocols, interoperation with firewalls and load balancers
+ Technical experience with payment market infrastructure outside of the US market (TARGET 2, Hong-Kong Real Time Gross Settlement, CLS Continuous Link Settlement)
+ Analyzes business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign technical solutions
+ Manages projects and work related tasks, including migration of applications to production. Communicate with leadership and stakeholders
+ Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan
+ Perform various application software installations, configuration changes and configure plug-in software
+ Experience with SWIFT messaging interface and SWIFT communication interface
+ Experience with implementing SWIFT services and infrastructure
+ Working knowledge of Routers, VPN, Firewalls, TCP/IP and TLS
+ Experience with Unix, shell scripting (bash, korn) and Perl
