The **Senior Manager, U.S. Benefits** , will report to the AVP, Global Total Rewards and will:
+ Lead the design, and delivery of comprehensive U.S. benefits programs including health, retirement, and wellness ensuring they are competitive and align with ETS’s strategy
+ Oversee vendor partnerships, manage plan renewals, and drive cost-efficiency through data-driven benchmarking and utilization analysis.
+ Ensure full compliance with relevant federal and state regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA), and collaborate closely with HRBPs, Finance, Legal, and HRIS.
+ Enhance the employee experience by providing clear, engaging benefits communications, leading open enrollment, and mentoring the benefits team.
Benefits Design & Implementation
+ Develop and refine the U.S. benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, leave & disability, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefits programs ensuring they are competitive, reliant, compliant, and aligned with global Total Rewards strategy.
+ Analyze cost trends, utilization, and market benchmarking to drive continuous optimization and strategic enhancements
+ Lead annual review of plans, programs, rate changes, open enrollment, and rollout of new programs
+ Continuously provide innovative and viable ideas in all areas of benefits and wellness programs
Vendor Management
+ Effectively negotiate with and manage vendors to ensure appropriate and cost-effective services
+ Lead comprehensive vendor processes (including billing), contract negotiations, broker/carrier relationships
+ Monitor vendor performance and compliance, and build strong relationships to ensure optimal service delivery and cost-effectiveness
Compliance
+ Ensure benefit plans are compliant with state and federal regulations such as, but not limited to, ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA and FMLA.
+ Drive open enrollment, plan renewals, audits, vendor management.
+ Work with both inside and outside legal counsel to ensure that all plan documents are in order and meet compliance standards
+ Fulfill all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations, including ERISA such as 5500 annual filings
Employee Experience & Communication
+ Serve as benefits escalation point, support leaves, eligibility issues.
+ Create benefits materials, guides and review tools to deliver a seamless, employee-centric experience.
+ Develop training, communications, and change management plan for any new benefits offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ Partner with Finance, Legal, HRBPs and HRIS.
+ Partner with AVP, Global Total Rewards and Leadership to align U.S. benefits programs to global TR strategy.
People Leadership & Mentoring
+ Mentor the U.S. Benefits Specialist; elevate their operational capabilities.
+ Act as U.S. benefits subject matter expert across Total Rewards and HR teams.

Minimum Requirements:
+ Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in benefit plan structure and administration, with progressively responsible experience in the administration and delivery of effective compensation and benefits programs
+ Bachelor’s degree in a Human Resources discipline or related education
+ Certified Benefits Professional, Certified Employee Benefit Specialist Professional certifications, preferred
Comprehensive Benefits Knowledge
+ Deep understanding of U.S. health, retirement, wellness, and voluntary benefit programs, along with industry trends and best practices.
Regulatory Compliance Expertise
+ Strong grasp of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and other federal/state regulations, with experience managing audits and ensuring compliance.
Strategic Program Leadership
+ Proven ability to design and execute benefits strategies, lead open enrollment, and manage complex projects aligned with business goals.
Vendor & Budget Management
+ Skilled in vendor management, contract negotiation, and managing benefits budgets and cost analysis.
Employee Communication & Engagement
+ Excellent communicator with experience developing clear, engaging benefits materials and campaigns for diverse employee populations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
+ Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to partner effectively across HR, Finance, Legal, and internal stakeholders.
Analytical & Technical Proficiency
+ Proficient in HRIS and benefits systems with strong data analysis skills to support decision-making.
