Job Overview:
RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Administrative Director Patient Care Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department for Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center. The Administrative Director is a registered professional nurse who coordinates available resources to efficiently and effectively provide nursing care of a quality consistent with the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Standards of Care and at a cost compatible with the fiscal and other resources of the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Master’s preferred
+ Current New Jersey RN Licensure
+ BLS required. (American Heart Association)
+ 2 to 5 years relevant clinical practice
+ A minimum of 2 years of progressive leadership experience is required
+ Certification in Leadership or clinical or in the process of obtaining
+ Previous experience as a nursing director is preferred,
Scheduling Requirements :
+ Full Time 40 hours per week
Essential Functions:
+ Oversee Level 1 Trauma Emergency Department, Observation Units and Emergency Screening.
+ Accountability and supervision for staff that includes RN's, CNA's & Unit Secretaries for Emergency Department and other healthcare providers who deliver care to patients in the inpatient setting.
+ Administrative Director will manage the staffing, budget & quality measures of the Department
+ An integral part of the Nursing Leadership Team at RWJ New Brunswick
+ Responsibility for multiple teams who support daily essential patient care
+ This individual is responsible to have 24/7 responsibility, recruit and manage multiple teams and improve quality and customer satisfaction,
