We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Internal Audit Associate to join our audit team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build a career in internal audit and gain hands-on experience in financial and operational controls testing. This requires ONE day onsite in Denver, Co.

+ Assist in the evaluation and testing of internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

+ Perform walkthroughs and document processes related to financial reporting and operational activities.

+ Support testing of controls in areas such as financial close, entity-level governance, and accounts payable.

+ Review prior-year workpapers and follow established audit procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.

+ Collaborate with internal audit team members and business stakeholders to gather documentation and clarify audit findings.

+ Help prepare audit reports and summaries for management review.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in a Relevant Field

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit-related roles.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

+ Familiarity with internal control frameworks and basic audit principles.

+ Excellent organizational and communication skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with audit tools or ERP systems is a plus.

+ Variety of workplace arrangements including hybrid, remote, onsite.

+ Compensation commensurate with employee qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market, and operational factors.

+ Pay Range: $50-$60/hr. (DOE)
