Job Summary
As a Print Shop Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining high-speed printing and mailing equipment to ensure quality and timely delivery of products.
Job Description
We are looking for a **Print Shop Technician** to operate and maintain high-speed printing and mailing equipment to ensure quality and timely delivery of products. This position will be **full-time, contract to hire, and on-site.**
_Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens will be considered for this role._
Work shift: Wednesday-Saturday 6pm to 4:30 am
What You’ll Do
+ Operate high-speed roll-feed and cut-sheet printing equipment
+ Manage high-speed mail inserter and sendPro meter
+ Handle US Mail and vendor package shipping
+ Prepare mail sort and perform quality control
+ Execute other peripheral duties associated with a print-to-mail facility
+ Follow learned training techniques to meet guidelines in quality, accuracy, and timeliness
+ Address and escalate issues impacting quality, accuracy, and timeliness with senior staff or the Team Manager
+ Align core behavior competencies with the business code of conduct
What You'll Need
Required:
+ High School Diploma / GED
+ Computer literate
+ Proficient using MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
+ 0-1 years of print-to-mail experience or production manufacturing experience, including inventory control, large equipment maintenance, retail warehousing, customer service-oriented jobs
+ Good communication skills
+ Ability to learn quickly
Preferred:
+ Previous mailroom experience
Physical Demands
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Ability to stand for 8 hours
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
+ Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs.
The pay range for this position is up to $20.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
