    This is a Casual status also known as Per Diem OR RN position at the Ambulatory surgery center (Ximed) at La Jolla Memorial hospital.It is avaried shift. M-F no weekends no holidays and no call.

    Join our Ambulatory Surgery Department team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. You will:

     

    Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice. Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes. The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision. Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

     

    *Required:*

    * One (1) year of RN experience in the Operating Room

    * Current California Registered Nurse License

    * Current ACLS and BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association

    * Preferred:*

    * Bachelor's degree in nursing

    * Ambulatory surgery experience
