    Assistant Controller

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to support our finance and accounting operations. This role will assist in managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.

    + Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.

    + Help maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.

    + Assist with audits, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external auditors.

    + Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.

    + Provide guidance and support to accounting staff as needed.

    + Contribute to process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    + 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.

    + Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

    + Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

    + Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    + CPA or progress toward certification is preferred but not required.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
