Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serves as the purchasing agent for all divisions of Facilities Management.
+ Review requisitions
+ Prepare solicitations
+ Review and edit contracts
+ Ensure compliance with all state procurement rules
Minimum Experience / Education:
+ Four-year degree from an accredited institution;
+ Two-year degree and at least four years of procurement-related experience; or an
+ Equivalent combination of education and procurement-related work experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
+ Associates Degree and four (4) years of procurement experience needed; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Contract review training or certification.
+ Construction procurement experience.
+ Knowledge of public higher education or governmental procurement practices.
