Job Title: Import CoordinatorJob Description

The Import Operations Customer Service Representative role is designed for an individual with excellent communication and customer service skills. You will have the opportunity to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment while providing best-in-class customer service. Responsibilities

+ Work with Importers and U.S. Customs to prepare, transmit, clear, examine, and deliver international cargo arriving into the U.S.

+ Collaborate with airlines, steamship lines, and truck lines to facilitate shipment movement into the U.S.

+ Coordinate with Participating Government Agencies such as FDA, FCC, DOT, F&W, EPA, etc., to clear cargo arriving into the U.S.

+ Ensure adherence to customer SOPs, agency regulations, and company standards.

+ Enter, upload, or compile shipment importation and commercial invoice data into in-house software for transmission to U.S. Customs.

+ Conduct preliminary Entry Summary auditing.

+ Partner with clients on U.S. Customs entry requirements.

+ Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

+ Proficient in using the Internet.

+ Experience with Cargowise (CW1) software is a plus.

+ Experience in clearance of air, ocean, truck, and rail cargo through U.S. Customs.

Work Environment

This role is based in an office environment, where you will engage in tasks using various software and technologies.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.44/hr.
