Join a dynamic team specializing in prevailing wage reporting support and project accounting. This role involves collaboration with project teams to ensure alignment with contractual requirements and accurate payroll processing using LCPtracker.
Responsibilities
+ Review construction contract requirements for assigned projects and attend project kickoff meetings to ensure alignment with project teams.
+ Ensure timely weekly reporting per contract requirements and log any payment shortfalls.
+ Support third-party contractually required monitoring as needed.
+ Review project settings in LCPtracker for accuracy and verify wage determination data for correctness.
+ Load payroll information into LCPtracker and review for accuracy and completeness.
+ Work with project teams and payroll to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate payments, especially for apprentices.
+ Raise awareness of financial implications of discrepancies and adjustments.
+ Generate and provide weekly payroll and apprentice reports from LCPtracker to meet customer billing requirements.
+ Respond to general questions on prevailing wage and LCPtracker processes.
+ Represent the organization's interests when interacting with project auditors.
+ Assist with annual and special audits as necessary.
+ Review team member setups and timecard reports prior to processing.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience in Payroll, Prevailing Wage, or Project Accounting.
+ Experience in the construction, engineering, or architecture industry.
+ Proficiency in pivot tables and vlookups.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of certified payroll reports.
+ Experience with project accounting.
Work Environment
This role is part of a newly created team following the Oracle Cloud implementation, focusing primarily on payroll with a mix of project accounting responsibilities. The team addresses prevailing wage and IRA projects, engaging in frequent communication with project teams. Employees are expected to be in the office three days a week, from Tuesday to Thursday, following two weeks of in-office training. The organization utilizes Oracle, UKG, and LCP for certified payroll reports, and training on LCP is provided. The shared service location houses the majority of the Accounting and Finance team, supporting a workforce of 6-7k employees.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.00/hr.
