    BASIC FUNCTION

    The position will complete the cleaning and sanitation of the production equipment and facility in order to maintain them in a clean and sanitary state.

     

    Performs cleaning and sanitation duties according to Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures and Master Sanitation Schedule. Carries out specific instructions from Production Supervisors or designated Production Lead in accordance with the daily production schedule.

    TEAMWORK RESPONSIBILITIES

    Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.

     

    Relies on instructions, pre-established guidelines, experience, and judgment to perform the functions of the job and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks autonomously and with proficiency. Works under general supervision.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES

    + Complete day-to-day cleaning and sanitation work duties.

    + Clean and sanitize all production machinery and equipment throughout the plant including conveyor belts, screens, filters, kettles, pipes, walls, totes, sanding/oiling drum, tables, and facility housekeeping including plant exterior. Ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed.

    + Handle chemicals used in the process of cleaning and sanitation by following safety precautions.

    + Complete the removal and disposal of waste and recycling in an effective manner.

    + Document cleaning and sanitation activity records.

    + Prioritize cleaning and sanitation duties to support production needs.

    + Use ATP bioluminescence device to verify cleaning and sanitation effectiveness.

    + Troubleshoot root causes of cleaning and sanitation failures and participate in problem-solving.

    + Observe and follow safety procedures.

    + Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP), Food Safety Plan (HACCP), and Food Quality Plan (FQP).

    + Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    + Take responsibility for maintaining facility and equipment in a clean and sanitary state.

    + Participate in all necessary training required to successfully perform job responsibilities.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    High School Diploma is required

    **Pay Details:** $19.50 to $21.50 per hour
