• Quality Inspector 1st Shift

    2nd shift - 3pm - 11:30pm (Monday-Friday) | East Granby, CT | $25 - $30p/h + 15% Shift Differential | Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K with match

    Position Overview:

    2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace or general manufacturing environment is a plus Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints or technical procedures

     

    Must have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring tools A strong background in manufacturing and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is required

     

    Final inspection of finished aerospace engine parts and components Experience operating CMM using PCDMIS a plus Measure various features and holes on part or component and determine if the part is acceptable to customer requirements Inspection includes visual and dimensional using requited gaging and measuring equipment Interpret operation sheets and blueprints meet customer criteria for an acceptable part Ensure that all parts being inspected meet criteria for an acceptable part If a part is defective or needs re-work, Inspector must complete required paperwork associated with this task

    Education Requirements:

    High school diploma or equivalent required
