• Maintenance Mechanic (Manufacturing /2nd Shift)

    A well-established chemical manufacturing and recycling facility in Santa Fe Springs is seeking a **Maintenance Technician** to join their 2nd shift team (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). This facility plays a key role in supporting sustainability by recycling materials for use in products serving the electronics, semiconductor, and water treatment industries.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, compressors, boilers, and rotating equipment

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems

    + Conduct pipe installations and repairs (PVC, CPVC, carbon/stainless steel)

    + Assist with equipment upgrades, process improvements, and facility projects

    + Maintain and calibrate sensors, controllers, and display panels

    + Welding, fabrication, and general mechanical tasks

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production setting (chemical, oil, or related preferred)

    + Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical schematics

    + Familiar with PLCs, SCADA systems, and industrial controls (a plus)

    + Able to operate forklifts and other motorized equipment

    + Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools

    + Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders/stairs, and wear a respirator

    Education:

    + High School diploma or equivalent required

    + HazMat experience a plus

    Pay: $30 - $40 per/hr - benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
