    **Now Hiring:** Travel Nuclear Med Tech – Palo Alto, CA

    **Duration:** 26 weeks

    **Schedule:** 10 hour Day Shift, expect weekend and holiday rotations

    **Important:** Applicants must reside **50 miles or more** from zip code 94305

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepares diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for administration following current radiation safety guidelines and assist in the administration of therapeutic doses

    + Operate Nuclear Medicine scan units to perform clinical diagnostic procedures as directed

    + Performs all Nuclear Medicine procedures on patients of all ages utilizing various types of imaging equipment

    + Processes computerized image data to include function curves and reconstructed SPECT images and accurately transfer images to the Picture Archive Communication System (PACS)

    Qualifications:

    + Minimum 2 years of experience and at least 1 Travel assignment

    + NMT-RHN - CA Nuclear Medicine Tech

    + And one of the following licenses:- ARRT-N - Certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists- NMTCB Certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board- ARRT-CT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography

    + Knowledge of Nuclear Medicine & PET-CT quality control and quality assurance

    + BLS Certification (American Heart Association) required

    Pay Breakdown:

    + $1,080 per week (taxable)

    + $1,988 weekly per diem (non-taxable)

    **Pay Details:** $3,068.00 per week
