The SGT-A65 Product Manager leads the product roadmap for
the A65 business. With a large installed fleet, this position plays a
fundamental role in protecting existing revenues & profit, as well as
defining the future product strategy for the portfolio. The role will require
working in close collaboration with multiple interfaces in Product management,
Engineering, Business development, strategy, LTP & M&U Sales &
Marketing, Supply Chain and customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Be responsible for managing thedevelopment and maintenance of argument and product requirements coveringthe SGT-A65 portfolio. You will submit the cases through the yearlyR&D budgeting process and own the product development budget.
+ Drive ideation throughunderstanding the technology, product cost, market & customerrequirements, identifying market opportunities to develop product-marketfit and/or obsolescence road maps that align to the business strategy ofthe portfolio. Assess existing product attributes for competitiveness anddevelop product requirements for new programs.
+ Collaborate with the engineeringteam to supervise product development progress and work with the PMO teamto manage project risks.
+ Act as gate keeper for relevantPDP reviews and gates as well as final approval for any product bulletinsrelating to the frame.
+ Partnering with the GSOcommercialization team, you will contribute to crafting cases for newservice upgrade product developments. Work closely with the portfoliotarget cost manager to understand the product cost position and helpdevelop strategies to close product cost gaps. It may be required to workwith LTP proposals to provide bid support for both fleet and new unitproposals. In addition, you will model product lifecycle costs for newmarket applications or new operating profiles.
+ The Product Manager is alsoencouraged to represent Siemens Energy at customer events such as usergroups or symposiums, in addition to some direct customer meetings. Youwill promote new product offerings & support NPI via sales &marketing training and/or direct customer updates!
What You Bring
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalentexperience in engineering or a related business field with over 5+ yearsof experience in technical, product, or commercial roles, primarilyinvolving Aeroderivative products.
+ Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills, with proven ability to work autonomously and manageprojects effectively.
+ Skilled in data analysis,road-mapping, networking, and prioritization, with the ability toinfluence partners internally and externally at all levels.
+ Proficient in PowerPoint andExcel, with solid understanding of regional business practices, customerneeds, and competitors.
+ This position is in aFrench-speaking environment but requires proficiency in English tocomprehend documentation and technical terms from international sources,and to connect with customers, suppliers, or international colleagues!
+ Applicants must be legallyauthorized for employment in the United States without need for current orfuture employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employeeswith current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
