Warehouse Associate

Job Information:

Hours: Flexible. 7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00 PM | Monday-Friday

Pay-rate: $21.00/hr.

Contract-to-permanent Opportunity!

Warehouse Associate Job Duties:

+ Prepare and package items for shipment in accordance with company procedures (boxing, wrapping, labeling, palletizing).

+ Track and update the status of inbound and outbound shipments using ERP and shipping systems (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS).

+ Perform incoming inspection of materials for damage, quantity, and accuracy.

+ Complete data entry for PO receipts and notify stakeholders of incoming goods.

+ Coordinate the accurate and timely distribution of materials to appropriate departments.

+ Perform shipping and receiving transactions as required and maintain documentation.

+ Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and periodic physical inventories.

+ Execute inventory movements, staging, and storage with adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.

+ Identify and segregate non-compliant materials; ensure product traceability and proper labeling.

+ Support material staging for production and maintain compliance with stockroom control procedures.

+ Ensure inventory accuracy within the ERP system and assist in process improvement efforts.

+ Pull, pack, and ship customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.

+ Organize stock and maintain proper labeling and documentation throughout the warehouse.

+ Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently (training provided if not certified).

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

+ Assist in training, mentoring, and leading junior team members when needed.

+ Support periodic or annual inventory counts and audits.

+ Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Warehouse Associate Job Requirements:

+ High school diploma or GED required, some college preferred.

+ 2–3 years of experience in warehousing, inventory control, or shipping/receiving functions.

+ Working knowledge of ERP systems and basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word).

+ Familiarity with small package and freight shipping systems (UPS, FedEx, etc.).

+ Good verbal and written communication skills and basic math proficiency.

+ Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

+ Forklift and pallet jack experience plus.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. standing, walking, bending throughout the shift.

+ Valid driver’s license and auto insurance preferred.
