    The Georgia Department of Community Health is seeking qualified applicants for The Georgia Department of Community Health is hiring a Regional Director LTC for its Southern Region within the Healthcare Facility Regulation Division. This leadership role oversees regulatory review, enforcement, facility inspections, and investigations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The position involves managing staff, conducting performance evaluations, planning and coordinating complex activities, and providing training and guidance. The director will also evaluate programs for effectiveness, communicate regulatory updates, and serve as a liaison on complex issues within the agency and with external entities.

    Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university and three (3) years in a managerial role in the area of assignment; or seven (7) years of experience in the area of assignment, including three (3) years in a managerial role; or one (1) year of experience required at the lower level Mgr 2, Regulatory Compliance (RCM051) or position equivalent.
