Job Title: Environmental Technician

Job Description

This role involves supporting landfill gas sites across the Southeast through travel to multiple sites. Responsibilities include wellfield reading and tuning using an Envision gas meter, pulling pumps with a partner, and cleaning, rebuilding, and replacing equipment. The role also requires gathering and submitting wellfield data using SCS eTools, as well as performing Surface Emissions Monitoring (SEMs) with an Elkins device.

Responsibilities

+ Travel to various landfill sites across the Southeast.

+ Perform wellfield reading and tuning using an Envision gas meter.

+ Collaborate with a partner to pull pumps and perform maintenance.

+ Clean, rebuild, and replace equipment as necessary.

+ Gather and submit wellfield data using SCS eTools.

+ Conduct Surface Emissions Monitoring (SEMs) using an Elkins device.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in landfill gas or environmental field operations.

+ Proficiency in using software.

+ HAZWOPER certification.

+ 1+ years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in data collection and environmental testing.

+ Field sampling expertise.

Work Environment

This position requires frequent travel to various landfill sites equipped with GCCS setups across the Southeast. The role involves hands-on activities such as reading and tuning wells, pulling pumps, and conducting SEMs. The company offers a supportive and down-to-earth culture, with opportunities for growth as the company expands. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
